EVALUATE THE RESULTS OF TREATMENT OF FEMORAL TROCHANTERIC FRACTURES WITH PFNA NAILS AT HANOI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Abstract
Objective: Clinical description and X-ray images of the study group of patients and evaluation of the results of combined treatment of femoral trochanteric fractures with PFNA nails at Hanoi Medical University Hospital. Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study combining retrospective and prospective. There were 31 retrospective patients and 14 prospective patients. Results: After 6 months, the rate of bone healing was 92.9%; patients who could walk normally without pain accounted for 53.6%; patients who could walk and had pain during exertion accounted for 35.7%; Harris score recorded as very good accounted for 57.1%, good accounted for 21.4%, and average was 14.3%. Conclusion: Treatment of femoral intertrochanteric fractures with PFNA nails has high bone healing results and is very good and effective according to Harris with a rate of 78.5%, a safe surgical method. The average HHS score of the study is 88.7
