Abstract

Objective: The study determined the analgesic effect and  the complications of intravenous lidocaine inusion after laparoscopic cholecystectomy Methods: Prospective, randomized controlled clinical trial on 60 patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy from January to September 2024 at Hospital Of Post And Telecommunications, including 2 groups: the research group was 30 patients with intravenous Lidocaine 1% during surgery, group C was 30 patients without infusion . Results: The majority of patients in the study had moderate to mild pain (VAS < 4). Intravenous lidocaine infusion during laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery has an analgesic effect after surgery, reducing the amount of morphine used in the first 24 hours after surgery by 31.9%. Intravenous Lidocaine infusion reduces the rate of vomiting and nausea after surgery. We did not record any serious side effects or anesthetic poisoning. Conclusions: Lidocaine intravenous can be applied as a component of a multimodal analgesic regimen in laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
