FINDING ON CLINICAL AND SUBCLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF CHILDREN NON-MEASLES AND RUBELLA RASH FEVER

Abstract

Objective: Describing clinical characteristics of children with rash fever not caused by measles and rubella. Method: Cross-sectional study of 195 children with rash fever who tested negative for measles IgM and rubella IgM at Thai Binh Children's Hospital and Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital. Results: Respiratory symptom was the most common with 18,97%. There were no cardiovascular and neurological symptoms. 19,49% of children patients had abnormalities on chest X-ray. Conclusion: Rash fever not caused by measles and rubella has diverse clinical symptoms, but most of them are mild and moderate.
