EVALUATE THE RESULTS OF USING SKIN STAPLE SUTURE AFTER CRANIOTOMY AT HANOI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the results of using Skin Staple Suture after craniotomy at Hanoi Medical University Hospital. Subjects and methods: The study describes craniotomy patients who used scalp pins at Hanoi Medical University Hospital from January 2024 to January 2025. Results: The ratio of male/female patients was 1.2/1, the average Kanoffsy was 84.3 ± 10, the surgical scar was evaluated after 1 month according to the Vancouver Scar Scale (VSS), the average score of 70 patients was 2.5, good scar healing was 88.6%, average scar healing was 12.4%, there were no cases of poor scar healing. Conclusion: Skin Staple Suture is an effective and safe method with a high rate of good scar healing.
