Subjects and methods: A cross-sectional study on pregnant women from 13 weeks gestation and up, who registered for COVID-19 vaccination at Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, from November 2021 to March 2022. Results: 805 pregnant women participated in the study with an average age of  29,1 years, of which 59,0% have received two doses of vaccine. The problem that worries pregnant women before COVID-19 vaccination is the side effects of the vaccine (78,5%); affect the fetus, premature birth, miscarriage (19,8%); quality and effectiveness of the vaccine (0,7%); risk of contracting COVID-19 in crowded places (0,4%); quality of vaccination sites (0,4%) and 1 pregnant woman (0,2%) do not worry about anything. Meanwhile, the problems that worry pregnant women after COVID-19 vaccination are the side effect of the vaccine (91,5%); effects on the fetus, stillbirth (8,0%); quality and effectiveness of the vaccine (0,5%). Conclusions: COVID-19 is a new disease, so the evidence on the safety and effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine in pregnant women is limited. Although pregnant women still have concerns about getting vaccinated against COVID-19, vaccination rates during pregnancy are quite high (100% of pregnant women participating in the study received ≥ 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccine).
