Abstract

Objective: This study aims to surVey the satisfaction of the patient about the communication attitude of nurses during the hospital staying at the Department of Internal Medicine A - Geriatrics of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital. Subjects and methods: Patients with inpatient treatment at the Department of Internal Medicine A - Geriatrics from January 2022 to August 2022. Study design: Cross- sectional descriptiVe study. Results: Among 200 patients participating in the study, the general satisfaction rate of the patient about the actiVities of nurses reached 97.1%. In which, 98.8% of the patients were satisfied with the mental care of the nurses, 96.9% were satisfied with the performance of nursing care actiVities, and 97.0% of the patients were satisfied with the relationship of patients and nurses, 96.0% were satisfied with the health education and counseling actiVities of nurses during treatment and after   discharge from the   hospital.   Conclusion

Patients were highly satisfied with the nurses' communication attitude in all areas of nursing care. The assessment of patient satisfaction helps to improVe the quality of medical examination and treatment, contributing to the construction and deVelopment of the hospital.
