Abstract

Objective: To analyse some factors related to mental health literacy at Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital. Methods: A cross-sectional study, using the 28-question mental health literacy scale (MHLS), surveyed 190 pregnant women who visited the Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital. Results: Pregnant women’s average mental health capacity score was 87,5±13,24. The factors of occupation and education level have a statistically significant relationship with mental health literacy with p<0.05. In: pregnant women who are office workers, have college/intermediate degrees or higher, have higher mental health competency scores, respectively 91,42±11,73; 91,00±12,37. Conclusion: Mental health literacy of pregnant women at Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital has an average score of 87,5±13,24 and is related to occupation and education level.
