PRACTICES ON COVID-19 VACCINE VACCINATION OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY

Abstract

Background: Healthcare workers are at particular threat due to occupational exposure to SARS-CoV-2. Therefore, they're in the top precedence group for vaccination. Objectives: Survey on vaccination practices of officers and workers working at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy from January 2022 to March 2022. Materials and methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study on an aggregate of 422 officers and workers working at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Results: The study recorded that over to 96,4% of subjects were willing to admit the COVID-19 vaccine for the first time, 98,8% were willing to admit the alternate COVID- 19 vaccine, and 96,9% were willing to admit the following COVID- 19 vaccine. the alternate time and 91,9% will report side goods to medical staff when passing side goods of the vaccine. The study didn't find a statistically significant association between reporting side goods of the COVID-19 vaccine and some characteristics of the study subjects. Conclusions: COVID- 19 vaccination practice of staff and workers at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy is veritably good, counting for a rate of over 91%.
