RESULTS OF NURSING CARE OF PATIENTS AFTER TRANSORAL ENDOSCOPIC THYROIDECTOMY VESTIBULAR APPROACH (TOETVA) AT HANOI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL IN 2023

Abstract
Objective: Describe the results of care for patients after Transoral Endoscopic Thyroidectomy Vestibular Approach (TOETVA) at Hanoi Medical University Hospital in 2023. Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study. Results: Of the 223 patients participating in the study, most were female (95.9%). The average age of the patients was 35.4 ± 8.1 years. Rate of implementation of nursing care activities after surgery in activities: monitoring and evaluating patients; Personal hygiene care for patients and reception of patients is very high, accounting for 100.0%. Personal hygiene consulting and nutrition consulting activities are lower, 66.8% and 70.8% respectively. Regarding patient assessment before leaving the hospital: 100% of patients were guided by nurses and fully knew the content of post-operative care. 61.4% of patients rated the caring attitude of nurses. And 76.2% of patients are satisfied with the nursing care attitude.
