EFFECTS OF "BU YIN YI QI JIAN” FORMULA ON TREATING INTERNAL HEMORRHOIDS

Abstract
Objectives: To evaluate the effect of the “Bu yin yi qi jian” formula on internal hemorrhoids patients with the blood and qi deficiency pattern. Method: Prospective controlled interventional study, compare between before and after treatment. Sixty patients diagnosed with internal hemorrhoids with the blood and qi deficiency pattern were divided into 2 groups. The study group was treated by Bu yin yi qi jian; the control group was treated by Dilodin. Result: Before the treatment, 100% of patients in both groups had bleeding hemorrhoids. After 14 days of the treatment, the rate of patients without bleeding in the study group was 46.7%, the control group was 33.3%. The results of shrinking hemorrhoids and improving symptoms of constipation, fatigue, and dizziness in the study group were better than the control group with p < 0.05.
