Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the outcomes of one stage transanal endorectal pull-through (TEPT),the treatment of Hirschsprung’s disease in National Children's Hospital. Methods: 42 patients underwent TEPT for Hirschsprung’s disease between November 2021 and June 2023 in National Children's Hospital. Prospective and restrospective research. Results: 42 patients during 11/2021 to 6/2023. Mean age: là 3,6 ± 4,3 months, all patients had short aganglionics. Average operating time: 53,3 ± 18,9 minutes, average hospital stay time: 5,71 ± 1,49 days, mean followup time postoperation was 10,9 ± 3,1 months. Bowel function at the end of the study: good and very good were 95,2%, no patient had poor bowel function. Conclusion: One stage transanal endorectal pull-through for Hirschsprung’s disease is safe with good functional defecation assement.
