OUTCOMES OF EARLY IMPLANT PLACEMENT AT THE NATIONAL HOSPITAL OF ODONTO – STOMATOLOGY, HANOI FROM 2023 TO 2024

Abstract
A case series study was conducted to evaluate the outcomes of early dental implant placement at the National Hospital of Odonto – Stomatology, Hanoi, from 2023 to 2024. A total of 15 patients with 18 implants were followed from 4–8 weeks post-extraction up to 6 months post-implantation. The overall success rate was 94.7%. The mean primary stability was 72 ISQ, the average keratinized mucosa width was 3.6 mm, and postoperative pain was mostly mild during the first three days. Factors associated with treatment outcomes included bone density, alveolar bone width, and initial keratinized tissue width. Early implant placement proved to be an effective approach, shortening treatment time while maintaining functional and aesthetic outcomes.
