Đánh giá mức độ hoạt động bệnh có vai trò quan trọng trong điều trị và theo dõi bệnh nhân viêm khớp dạng thấp. Mục đích: (1) Mô tả đặc điểm siêu âm Doppler năng lượng khớp cổ tay bệnh nhân viêm khớp dạng thấp, (2) Xác định một số yếu tố liên quan giữa hình ảnh tổn thương khớp cổ tay trên siêu âm Doppler năng lượng với một số đặc điểm lâm sàng, cận lâm sàng của bệnh. Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: mô tả cắt ngang được thực hiện trên 103 bệnh nhân viêm khớp dạng thấp tại khoa cơ xương khớp Bệnh viện Hữu nghị Đa khoa Nghệ An. Kết quả: Mức độ tăng sinh mạch khớp cổ tay trên PDUS mức độ 1 (tăng sinh nhẹ) chiếm 58,25%, mức độ 2 (tăng sinh trung bình) là 24.27% và 7,70% ở mức độ 3 (tăng sinh mạnh). Mức độ tăng sinh mạch theo thang điểm bán định lượng trên siêu âm Doppler năng lượng khớp cổ tay bệnh nhân viêm khớp dạng thấp có mối liên quan có ý nghĩa với các yếu tố phản ánh mức độ hoạt động bệnh trên lâm sàng và xét nghiệm là số khớp sưng, số khớp đau, VAS toàn thể, nồng độ CRP và các chỉ số đánh giá mức độ hoạt động bệnh thường được sử dụng là DAS28-CRP. Kết luận: Siêu âm Doppler năng lượng khớp cổ tay có thể được sử dụng như một phương pháp để đo lường mức độ hoạt động bệnh viêm khớp dạng thấp.
