Abstract

Objective: The study aims to describe the status of nutritional assurance and some factors affecting nutritional assurance for patients receiving first-level care at the Intensive Care Unit, Military Hospital 354. Subjects and research methods: Cross-sectional description on 185 patients receiving primary care at Military Hospital 354. Result: Only 42.2% of patients were guaranteed enough energy, the rest 57.8% of patients. the demand for energy is not guaranteed compared to the demand. In the group of patients with combined lesions, only 10.2% were provided with sufficient energy requirements. The group with CSCI days > 20 days had 51.6% provided with sufficient energy requirements. NB fed with both sugars combined had a guaranteed energy rate of 38.8%. Sex, number of days with indication of CSCI, status with or without combined lesions, fed with a combination of both IV and TH feeding routes are factors related to the nutritional status of children. patient. In which, patients with lesions have a 10.1 times higher risk of undernutrition than those without lesions, the difference is statistically significant with the confidence interval not containing the value 1. Conclusion: The prevalence of ensuring adequate nutrition for patients receiving primary care is still low.
