Abstract

We examined 253 men with infertility with OAT syndrome to evaluate clinical, subclinical, and genetic characteristics. The results show that the average age of patients in the study was 29.3 ± 6.04 years. Primary infertility accounts for the majority, with a rate of 80,47%. History of mumps orchitis, varicose veins accounted for quite a high rate, respectively 12.65% and 23.32%. The average level of FSH, LH, Testosterone were 8.58 ± 7.31mIU/ml, 6.49 ± 4.11mIU/ml, 16.27 ± 7.06nmol/l, respectively. The prevalence of chromosomal abnormalities was 4.62%. The incidence of AZF microdeletion was 21.1%. in which, AZFc and the extended SY1291 had the highest rate with 72.17%, followed by missing AZFc + d (22.2%) and losing pure AZFd (5.56%).  Our research shows that mumps orchitis, varicocele veins, and AZFc expansive mutation SY1291 are common causes in male infertility patients with OAT syndrome
