THE SITUATION OF PATULIN CONTAINS IN SOME FOOD IN HA GIANG
Main Article Content
Abstract
Objectives: To evaluate the status of Patulin contamination in food produced in Ha Giang province, 2021. Methods: Total 210 samples of juice and fruit products were analyzed to quantify the level of Patulin. Analysis of mycotoxins was conducted by High Performance Liquid Chromatography using a UV detector. Results: The survey results showed that 83/210 samples were infected with Patulin, as 39.5%. In which, the group of fruit juices, reconstituted concentrated fruit juices, and fruit nectarines had the highest rates of Patulin contamination and the rate of exceeding the allowable standards, at 62.9% and 25.7%, respectively. Conclution: The concentration of Patulin in 13.8% of the samples was over permissible limits by nationwide regulations.
