CURRENT SITUATION OF SLEEP DISORDERS OF SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS PATIENTS AT NAM DINH GENERAL HOSPITAL

Abstract

Objective: To Describe the current state of sleep disorders in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus at Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital. Method: A Cross-sectional descriptive study on 120 patients diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus examined and treated at the Department of Dermatology, Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital during the period from December 2022 to September 2023. Results: 65% of people with systemic lupus erythematosus experience poor sleep, restless sleep, and wake up easily. The patient's average sleep time per night is 5,61 ± 1,69 hours with the lowest value being 2 hours and the highest value being 8 hours. The majority of patients with sleep disorders have symptoms of fatigue in the morning after waking up, accounting for 87% and affecting work. Conclusion: The current status of sleep disorders in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus treated at Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital is not high with an average PSQI score of 8,23 ​​± 4,38 points out of a total of 21 points.
