Logistic regression analysis was used to identify factors associated with depression. Results: The prevalence of depression was 13.9%. Factors associated with depression included household workers, (OR=3.10; 95% CI: 1.17-8.20); unsatisfied with current health (OR = 5.92; CI95%: 3.10-11.28), influenced by flooding (or = 4.42; CI95%: 1.94-10.1); familiar conflicts (OR=11.4; CI95%; 4.44-29.27) and muscular-skeletal diseases (OR=2,36; 95%CI: 1,26-4,41). Conclusions: The local government and health sector need to strengthen screening for early detection of depression.
