KNOWLEDGE ABOUT FALL PREVENTION FOR PATIENTS OF NURSES WORKED AT NATIONAL HOSPITAL OF TRADITIONAL MEDICINE

Abstract
Fall is the one of crucial issues of patient safety and one of 6 medical errors that must be reported. Nurses and midwives play significant role in minimizing medical incidents. Objective: to describe the state of knowledge about fall prevention in patients treated in National Hospital of Traditional Medicine in 2023. Methodology: a cross- sectional study on 127 nurses worked at 9 clinical departments of National Hospital of Traditional Medicine. Results: there were 73.2%; 75.6% and 74% nurses who have adequate knowledge of fall risk, fall prevention solutions and general fall prevention. Conclusion: nurses have adequate knowledge of fall prevention.
