Abstract
Objective: To evaluated neonatal outcomes of in vitro fertilization (IVF) pregnant women with preeclampsia at the the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Material and Methods: A cross-sectional prospective study was collected in 65 IVF pregnant women with preeclampsia at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology from July 2020 to June 2021. Results: The average gestational age at birth of newborns is 35.0 ± 2.4 weeks, of which gestational age over 37 weeks accounts for 33.9%. The average gestational age at birth in the singleton group is higher than in the multiple pregnancies group (250 days (35weeks 5 days) vs 243 days (34 weeks 5 days)) but this difference is not statistically significant (p>0.05). The majority of newborns weigh > 1500g (90.8%), including 30% of mothers with multiple pregnancies whose babies are born lighter than their gestational age. Conclusion: The average gestational age at birth of IVF pregnant women with preeclampsia with preeclampsia is 36 weeks. The majority of children have a birth weight > 1500g (90.8%). The average gestational age and newborn weight between the multiple and single pregnancy groups were not statistically significant (p>0.05). 100% of newborns of pregnant women with singleton fetuses were healthy, no cases of postpartum death were recorded.
