Abstract

Objectives: To conduct a surveillance on prescriping activities for outpatients at Cu Kuin Medical Center in 2022. Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study method with 432 outpatient prescriptions were collected from January 2022 to December 2022. Results: The proportion of prescriptions with detailed address of the patient and doctor signature is 0.7% and 96.8%. The percentages of drugs prescribed by international generic names and those on the List of Essential Medicines were 99.8% and 73.7%. The antibiotic prescription proportion was 40.5%. The proportion of prescriptions using vitamins - minerals is 47.5%. Conclusions: There were some shortcomings in the patient's information and doctor’s signature. Antibiotics, vitamins and minerals are prescribed at a high proportion
