COMPARE THE IMPACTION ON NEURO-INTRAOPERATIVE DURING THYROIDECTOMY BETWEEN SUGAMMADEX FOR REVERSAL OF ROCURONIUM AND SUCCINYLCHOLINE

Abstract
The use of Neuro-intraoperative monitoring (NIM) during thyroidectomy reduce the rate of recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN). However, patients must be in condition of non- paralyzed or complete reversal of muscle relaxation. A cross- sectional study was conducted from April to October 2020 to compare the effectiveness of sugammadex for reversal of neuromuscular blockade by low dose of rocuronium and depolarizing skeletal muscle relaxant Succinylcholine in thyroidectomy with NIM. Patients in S group got dose of 1mg/kg intubated succhinylcholine while patients in R group got dose of 0.5 mg/ Kg rocuronium for endotracheal tube placement and were revesal muscle relaxation with sugammadex. Research results showed that 100% patients achieved TOF >=0,9 after 3 minutes of sugamadex injection while 100 % patients in group S achieved TOF >=0,9 after 10 minutes. Patients in griup R and S both had preserved morphology and function of the recurrent laryngeal nerve. Group S had lower intubation quality than group R according to IDS score. The rate of coughing and intraoperative movement in group S was higher than that in group R. Both methods did not affect the NIM.
