Abstract

Objective: Applying the HEART score to chest pain patients in the emergency department who underwent coronary angiography at Nghe An General Friendship Hospital. Subjects and research methods: prospective, cross-sectional descriptive study; conducted on 239 patients admitted to the emergency department for chest pain at Nghe An General Friendship Hospital from May 2023 to October 2023. Results: The HEART score was proportionally associated with the events. Prognostic value of the HEART score for the events in the study group was high. With the cut-off 5,5 points, the HEART score had prognostic value for the events in the study group with a sensitivity of 70,8%, a specificity of 88,5%, the area under the ROC curve was 0,868 (0,812 – 0,923). Conclusion: The HEART score was valuable in risk stratification, predicting cardiovascular events.
