ĐÁNH GIÁ KẾT QUẢ ĐIỀU TRỊ VIÊM LOÉT GIÁC MẠC DO NẤM TẠI BỆNH VIỆN MẮT NGHỆ AN NĂM 2022

Abstract

Objectives: Evaluating the results of treatment fungal corneal ulcers and learn rich factors that affect treatment results. Subjects and methods: Prospective descriptive study, with clinical intervention, without control, on 24 eyes of 24 patients treated for fungal corneal ulcers at Nghe An Eye Hospital from January 2022 to October 2022. Results: The average treatment time of patients in the study was 18.54 ± 1.29 days, the majority of patients had treatment time between 2 and 4 weeks, accounting for 62.5%. Successful treatment results accounted for 91.7%, there were 2 cases of treatment failure accounting for 8.3%, and simple medical treatment accounted for 33%. The majority of patients need combined treatment with surgical methods, accounting for 67%. No relationship was found between age group and treatment results after 1 week and 1 month (p>0.05). There is a positive correlation between duration of illness and hospital discharge results at 1 week and 1 month (r = 0.410-0.501).
