Abstract
Large palatal fistulas are a challenging problem in congenital maxillofacial surgery. Large palatal fistulas are often the severe complication of primary cleft palate repair or the complication of systemic diseases as fungus infection, HLH… Many techniques are used to close the defect. The tongue flap is an easy and reproducible procedure for managing this complication. The author report 3 cases of a large palatal fistula closure with anteriorly based tongue flap.
