TREATMENT RESULTS OF ATROPHIC SCAR BY SUBCISION WITH FRACTIONAL CO2 LASER AND HOSA SERUM AT CAN THO UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY HOSPITAL AND FOB VOCATIONAL EDUCATION CENTER OF BEAUTY

Abstract
Objectives: Evaluation of treatment results of atrophic scar by subcision with fractional CO2 laser and Hosa serum at Can Tho university of medicine and pharmacy hospital and FOB vocational education center of beauty from 08/2022 to 08/2023. Patients and methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 73 atropic scar patients at Can Tho university of medicine and pharmacy hospital and FOB vocational education center of beauty from 2022 to 2023. Results: Improvement in the number of atrophic scars: good (78.1%), fair (20.5%) and average (1.4%). Improved flatness of atrophic scars: grade 0 (43.8%), level 1 accounts (48%), level 2 (8.2%). Improvement of concave scarcolor: good (68.5%) and fair (28.8%). The percentage of patients with overall treatment results after 12 weeks is 91.8%. The main side effects were burning pain (83.3%), edema (8.3%), and skin redness (41.7%) in a total of 12 patients with side effects. 56.2% of patients felt very satisfied, 38.4% of patients felt satisfied with the results of atrophic scar treatment. Conclusion: The combination of subcision with fractional CO2 laser and Hosa serum is safe and effective modality for the treatment of atrophic acne scars
