Abstract

Objective: Comparison of clinical outcomes of frozen embryo transfer prepared with letrozole versus hormone replacement in patients with normal menstrual cycles. Methods: A retrospective study based on data from 99 patients undergoing frozen embryo transfer (FET), with endometrial preparation using letrozole regimens (n = 48) and hormone replacement (n = 51), conducted from March 2023 to March 2024 at Hanoi Medical University Hospital. Results: When preparing the endometrium in women with normal menstrual cycles, the letrozole regimen results in a pregnancy rate comparable to the exogenous hormone regimen (56.25% vs. 56.86%) and a higher clinical pregnancy rate (50.00% vs. 41.18%), while requiring only half the dose of exogenous progesterone for luteal phase support. Conclusion: The letrozole regimen is a good option for endometrial preparation in patients with normal menstrual cycles.
