Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the outcome of posterior cruciate ligament  and posteolateral corner recontruction. Subjects and methods: Research on 31 patients diagnosed with grade III of the posterior cruciate ligament and posteriolateral corner, from August 2022 to January 2024. Clinical outcomes were evaluated as the Lysholm and IKDC-2000 objective. Prospective cross-sectional study describing series of cases, without a control group. Results: 24 men and 7 women, average age is 35.29 ± 10.44, post-operative Lysholm is 92.35 ± 5.92, and good and excellent with a total accuracy of 93.54% compared to pre-operative Lysholm is 58.16. ± 14.44, there is a clear improvement. The post-operative objective  IKDC is 9 patients with grade A, 16 patients with grade B and 6 patients with grade C compared to pre-operative IKDC with 11 patients with grade B and 20 patients with grade D, the results are statistically significant with p<0.001. Conclusion: Combined posterior cruciate ligament and posteolateral corner recontruction reconstruction resulted in improved clinical about fuctional knee joint.
