IMPACT OF EARLY REHABILITATION THERAPY ON FUNCTIONAL OUTCOMES IN PATIENTS POST DISTAL RADIUS FRACTURE SURGERY

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the results of early rehabilitation treatment for patients after plate  fixation for distal radius fracture at E Hospital from October 2023 to July 2024. Research method: intervention research, prospective, non-controlled study. Research results: In 37 patients studied, the majority of patients had improvements in swelling, pain, and good range of motion of the wrist. 75.7% of patients had good recovery according to the Green and O'brien modified Cooney scale. Conclusion: Patients after plate fixation for distal radius fracture had good recovery results after 3 months.
