Abstract

Patient satisfaction" is a frequently used quality indicator in marketing, serving as a measure of patient retention and healthcare quality. Patient satisfaction is a critical component of the healthcare experience, as patient consent is considered a desired outcome of care (1). Our study was conducted on 136 circumcised patients who agreed to participate in the research to assess satisfaction and explore several factors related to patient satisfaction, with the aim of improving the hospital's service quality in the future. Our research results show that the average age of circumcised patients is 29 years old. The satisfaction rate with the services at the Department of Andrology and Sexual Medicine is 91.9%. Patient satisfaction regarding staff behavior, professional competence of healthcare workers, service delivery outcomes, transparency of information and procedures, facilities and service equipment, and accessibility to care were 82.3%, 82.4%, 79.4%, 75%, and 76.5%, respectively. The factor of who the patient lives with was statistically significantly related (P<0.05) to patient satisfaction.
