STUDY CLINICAL AND PARA-CLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS IN PATIENTS WITH HYDRONEPHROSIS, PYELONEPHRITIS BEFORE AND AFTER PERCUTANEOUS NERPHROSTOMY AT HANOI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Abstract
Introduction: Hydronephrosis and pyelonephritis are the reason of kidney failure and cause many lumbering complications such as kidney failure and sepsis. Percutaneous nephrostomy is a temporary treatment method that is minimally invasive, safe and immediately effective. Subject and methods: cross-sectional descriptive study with 45 patients who have hydronephrosis and pyelonephritis at Radiology and inventional center in Ha Noi Medical University Hospitals from 06/2021 to 08/2024. Results: 45 patients who have hydronephrosis and pyelonephritis, side back pain is the most symptom which accounts 82.2%, then large kidney accounts 75.6% and fever is 62.2%. The patients have hydronephrosis and pyelonephritis in grade II, III about 75.5% and renal failure about 57.8%. Both clinical and paraclinical characteristics improved after PCN.
