Abstract

Background: Developing a measurement scale to gather student feedback on training activities plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of education in academic institutions. Objective: This study aims to develop and validate a satisfaction scale for students regarding the training activities of the Pharmacy associate degree program at Dong Thap Medical College for the academic year 2024–2025. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 517 second- and third-year students enrolled in the Pharmacy associate degree program at Dong Thap Medical College during the 2024–2025 academic year. The preliminary scale was developed based on a literature review, followed by reliability assessment and Exploratory factor analysis. Results: A 33-item scale was developed, categorized into seven factors: “Facilities,” “Training Program,” “Lecturers and Classroom Teaching Activities,” “Service Capability,” “Learning Environment and Support Activities,” “Career Orientation Activities,” and “Tuition Fees and Additional Costs.” The total variance explained by these seven factors was 63.92%, and the overall Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the scale was 0,943. Conclusion: The developed scale demonstrates high reliability and can be applied to assess student satisfaction with the training activities of the Pharmacy associate degree program at Dong Thap Medical College for the academic year 2024–2025.
