Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the implementation of the breast massage technique by healthcare workers (HCWs) at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology and to survey the satisfaction of patients who undergone breast massage service. Subjects and Research Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted to assess 14 HCWs performing 100 breast massage sessions using a checklist and to survey the satisfaction of 100 patients who undergone breast massage service at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology from September 2024 to February 2025. Results: 100% of HCWs fully performed all 11 steps of the breast massage procedure. 95% of patients rated the service quality as satisfactory to very satisfactory. 1% of patients were dissatisfied due to medical equipment and supplies not meeting healthcare needs. 1% of patients were dissatisfied with the service quality, feeling it did not correspond to the cost paid. Conclusion: HCWs performed the breast massage technique completely and correctly according to the procedure. Overall, patients were highly satisfied with the service. The hospital should improve cost structures and medical equipment to enhance the patient experience.
