THE RESULT OF PATIENT CARE EVALUATION AFTER STRABISMUS SURGERY AND SOME RELATED FACTORS IN PEDIATRIC DEPARTMENT OF VIET NAM NATIONAL EYE HOSPITAL IN 2025

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the outcomes of patient care after Strabismus surgery at Viet Nam National Eye Hospital (VNEH) in 2025. Method: An observational study was conducted on 86 patients after trabismus surgery at VietNam National Eye Hospital in 2025. Evaluation of nursing care and consultation for those parent’s were evaluated. Results: Clinical characteristics of patient in the study group: Male accounted for 43%, female gets higher rate 57%. The results of nursing care and treatment through are showed that: The percentage of nurse taking steps in accordance with technical process accounted for 90.7%. Besides that health education colsultanting activities: Well implementing nutrition and adhearing to fasting before surgery accounted for 93%. Hand hygine, examination and storage accounted for 96.5%. the safety guiden for patient reached 100% and the guidance for vision rehabilitation after surgery appropriated to 63.9%. Conclusion: Strabismus is a common disease that accompany with some other kinds of eye disease. It is necessary to fully impliment nursing care processes especially for children to improve the quality of tratment and patient satisfaction.
