Abstract
Lung cancer is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality among cancers in both sexes. According to a survey by the Global Research Organization on Cancer (GLOBOCAN) in 2020, the number of new cases of lung cancer in a year is 2,206,771, second only to breast cancer and the number of deaths in a year because of breast cancer. Lung cancer is 1,796,144 which ranks at the top of the list of cancer deaths.
