Abstract

Study on clinical characteristics, cervical length and morphology, and phIGFBP-1 test results of cases of threatened premature birth at Can Tho City Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital. The study subjects were pregnant women with signs of threatened premature birth admitted to the hospital for treatment. Results: The average age of the study group was 27.26. Most lived in rural areas and had no children. The gestational age at the time of examination and hospitalization was 29.36 weeks and the most common symptom was abdominal pain. The average cervical length was 28 mm; most were I-shaped (32 cases, accounting for 64%); the average cervical angle was 107.18°. The rate of negative phIGFBP-1 tests was higher than positive.
