Abstract

Objectives: To introduce techniques and evaluate the initial results of the method of using oral mucosa graft in treatment of urethral stenosis after hypospadias operations. Research Methods: Reported several cases of treatment of urethral stenosis after hypospadias operations using oral mucosa graft in Children's Hospital 1. Results: Among 10 cases, 7 patients achieved good outcomes, with no recurrence of stricture and satisfactory cosmetic results at the surgical site. One patient experienced stricture recurrence, and two patients had urethral dehiscence. no cases got lower lip deformation. Conclusion: Use of oral mucosa flap in the treatment of urethral stenosis after hypospadias operations is a feasible and effective method but this is a rather complex and meticulous method, should be done by the surgeons who have experience and good skills.
