Abstract

Objective: To analyze the pregnancy outcomes in cases of omphalocele diagnosed at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Subjects and Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 103 pregnant women carrying fetuses diagnosed with omphalocele. Results: The rate of pregnancy termination was 58.25%. Among the continued pregnancies, 88.37% resulted in full-term deliveries. Cesarean section was performed in 74.42% of cases. Conclusion: Omphalocele is associated with a high rate of pregnancy termination, especially in cases with accompanying structural or genetic abnormalities.
