Abstract

Objective: To describe the clinical and paraclinical characteristics and evaluate the surgical outcomes of patients with ovarian tumors who underwent surgery at General Hospital of Agricultural. Subjects and Methods: A retrospective study conducted over a 3-year period from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023, on 104 patients who underwent surgery for ovarian tumors. Results: 64.4% of ovarian tumors presented with clinical symptoms, while 35.6% were detected through routine health check-ups. The laparoscopic surgery rate was 78.8%, with 8 cases (7.7%) converted to open surgery. The ovarian-preserving tumor excision method accounted for the highest rate at 57.7%. Postoperative complications occurred in 3.8% of patients. Conclusion: Factors such as advanced age, multiparity, adhesions, or complex lesions should be considered when selecting an appropriate surgical approach.
