There have been many studies worldwide on the benefits of this program, but currently, there are very few studies in Vietnam. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the outcomes of a 3-month cardiac rehabilitation program for outpatients at Ho Chi Minh City University medical center. Methods: A descriptive study of case series was conducted at Ho Chi Minh City University medical center, from March 2023 to March 2025. Results: The study included 54 patients, 44.4% male and 55.6% female, with an average age of 55.37 ± 14.59 years, most of whom lived in Ho Chi Minh City (66.7%). The average distance traveled during the 6-minute walk test before and after the program was 398.19 ± 87.38m and 593.61 ± 94.39m, with an average improvement of 195.43 ± 12.1m, statistically significant difference (p < 0.001). The average quality of life score according to the SF-36 scale before and after the program was 33.78 ± 9.98 points and 67.98 ± 17.68 points, with an average improvement of 34.2 ± 1.83 points, statistically significant difference (p < 0.001). There was only one case of dizziness during the program without life-threatening events.
