Abstract
Genital warts are one of the common male diseases, caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) and transmitted sexually. Genital warts can affect sexual life, self-image, self-esteem, emotions, daily activities and quality of life due to pain and discomfort, anxiety and depression. Our study was conducted on 125 patients with genital warts at the Department of Andrology and Gender Medicine, Hanoi Medical University Hospital to investigate the level of depression, anxiety and stress and identify some related factors. Subjects and methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted from April 2024 to July 2024 through the DASS-21 self-administered toolkit. Results: The rate of depression, anxiety and stress in subjects with genital warts was 28%; 48%; 24.8%, marital status is related to depression, anxiety and stress, only the age group from 18-35 years old has depressive disorder.
