Abstract

Introduction: This study aimed to evaluate the clinical outcomes of arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction with remnant preservation at Viet Duc University Hospital. Materials and Methods: A retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted on 52 patients with ACL rupture who underwent arthroscopic remnant-preserving ACL reconstruction at Viet Duc University Hospital between August 2024 and March 2025. Research results: Postoperatively, 92.3% of patients had a negative Lachman test and 94.2% had a negative Pivot Shift test. The mean Lysholm score was 93.52. According to the IKDC score, 98% of patients achieved good to excellent results. Conclusion: Arthroscopic remnant-preserving ACL reconstruction provides satisfactory restoration of knee stability and function, yielding favorable clinical outcomes.
