Subjects and Methods: Patients undergoing kidney stone surgery at the specialized kidney stone treatment department of Binh Dan Hospital who agreed to participate in the study were included. The prospective study described a series of cases from July 2023 to August 2024. Results: Over a 13-month period, 450 stone specimens were collected from 442 patients. Among the classified types of urinary calculi, calcium oxalate stones exhibit the highest prevalence, accounting for 64.22%. This category consists of whewellite (calcium oxalate monohydrate) at 51.78% and weddellite (calcium oxalate dihydrate) at 12.44%. Phosphate stones represent 25.55% of the total, with hydroxyapatite comprising 25.11% and brushite 0.44%. Uric acid stones constitute only 4.67%. Infection stones, including struvite, account for 3.78%, while ammonium hydrogen urate represents 0.44%. Cystine stones, a rare occurrence, are observed at 1.33%. Conclusion: The prevalence of stone types in our study is quite similar to the global average.
