LIFESTYLE AND MEDICATION ADHERENCE OF PATIENTS WITH HYPERTENSION IN HIEP THUAN COMMUNE, PHUC THO DISTRICT, HANOI CITY: A CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY

Abstract
Objective: The study describes hypertensive patients' lifestyle and medication adherence in Hiep Thuan commune, Phuc Tho district, Hanoi city. Method: Cross-sectional study on 173 patients diagnosed with hypertension who are being managed at Hiep Thuan commune health station, Phuc Tho district, Hanoi city, meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria, selected by a stratified random method, surveyed by a self-completed questionnaire via Google form and directly surveyed by printed form. Results: The study shows that the current status of lifestyle adherence and medication adherence of hypertensive patients in Hiep Thuan commune in 2023 is still average. Conclusion: It is necessary to implement appropriate interventions to improve both lifestyle and medication adherence, improving the effectiveness of blood pressure control and preventing complications.
