Abstract

Describe some adverse reactions after Moderna COVID-19 vaccine injection at Hai Duong Medical Technical University in 2022. Research method: Cross-sectional descriptive study describing some adverse reactions of subjects who were injected with Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. The research team distributed questionnaires to 185 officials, employees and students of Hai Duong Medical Technical University who were injected with Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and received all 4 doses. Research results: Of the total 185 subjects studied, 12.4% had a history of allergies, 6.5% had a history of illness, 35.7% had pain at the injection site after the first injection, 25.9% had fever, 18.4% had headache, 21.6% had muscle pain, and 16.2% had fatigue. Conclusion: Some of the most common reactions after Moderna COVID-19 vaccination were pain, heat, redness, itching, and swelling at the injection site. In addition, other reactions included fatigue, headache, dizziness, muscle pain, joint pain, fatigue, sore throat, runny nose, cough, and fever.
