CAREGIVER BURDEN AMONG CAREGIVERS OF PATIENTS WITH HEART FAILURE AT THE CARDIOLOGY DEPARTMENT, VIETNAM-THUY DIEN UONG BI HOSPITAL IN 2025

Abstract
Objective: To survey the current burden of caregivers of heart failure patients using the Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI) scale at the Cardiology Department of Vietnam - Sweden Uong Bi Hospital in 2025. Method: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 82 caregivers of heart failure patients from March to May 2025, used Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI) tool. Results: The average ZBI score was 35.32 ± 18.86. Among the caregivers, 40.2% had a moderate burden, 36.6% had a severe or very severe burden, and 23.2% had a mild burden. Conclusion: The caregiving burden for heart failure patients at the Cardiology Department of Vietnam - Sweden Uong Bi Hospital in 2025 according to the ZBI scale is at a moderate level
