Abstract

Objectives: Evaluation of clinical characteristics and surgical results of reconstruction of the lateral ankle ligament using the InternalBrace technique at Military Hospital 175. Subjects and methods: Prospective longitudinal case series of 23 patients (21 men, 2 women; mean age 25 ± 7.9 years) who underwent lateral ankle ligament reconstruction surgery using InternalBrace technique. Results and Conclusion: Based on FAOS and FAAM, 22/23 patients (95.65%) achieved good to excellent outcomes; one patient had a fair result. Research results show that surgery to reconstruct lateral ankle ligament using the InternalBrace technique is effective in restoring ankle joint stability. This method helps patients recover quickly and early rehab
