RESULTS OF USING SCEW AND PLATES FIXATION TO TREAT PHALANX AND METAPHALANX FRACTURES AT VIET TIEP HOSPITAL FROM MAY 2020 TO MAY 2025

Abstract
Fracture of phalanx and metaphalanx is quiet common. Using scew and plates fixation to treatment phalanx and metacarpal fractures give positive results. Objectives: 1. Discribe the characters of phalanx and metaphalanx fracture. 2. Evaluate the results of osteosynthesis for phalanx and metaphalanx fracture. Patients and methods: 64 patients were ORIF with plate and screw. Postoperative evaluation with TAM and Strickland classification. Results: Average age is 32.6±5.8. Metaphalanx fracture is 56,4%, phalanx fracture is 43.6%. Bone healing is 100%, 94.8% patients have excellent and good results. Conclusion: Osteosynthesis for phalanx and metaphalanx fracture has good results, bone healing is 100%.
