Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the outcomes of valgus deformity correction in total knee arthroplasty (TKA) operated at Viet Duc University Hospital. Materials and Methods: This descriptive study included three patients with valgus knee deformity who underwent total knee arthroplasty from 2024 to 2025. Results: All three cases presented with grade II, III valgus deformity and underwent primary total knee arthroplasty. All patients showed good to excellent outcomes on the KSS and KFS scales, resumed normal daily activities, and had no experience of postoperative complications. Conclusion: The correction of deformities in valgus knee is a challenge to perform a total knee arthroplasty for a surgeon and required careful preoperative planning to achieve the desired surgical outcomes
