Main Article Content
Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of applying QR codes and checklists for guiding patient preparation before gastrointestinal endoscopy under anesthesia. Methods: A parallel controlled intervention on 400 patients (200 intervention and 200 control). Results: Significant improvement in compliance, reduced postponement, and increased patient satisfaction were observed. Conclusion: QR code with checklist is a cost-effective and efficient quality improvement measure. These results indicate that improvements in the pre-procedure preparation guidance process have clear practical significance in the context of the steadily increasing number of endoscopy patients.
